I have the same issue but on a new HRM-Pro purchase. Initially it connected to Garmin connect. Garmin connect then suggested the 7.1 update which I applied. After that it will no longer pair with Garmin conenct. The HRM-Pro does connect with my Forerunner watch. XHQlF4.
